These are Canada's most-streamed Spotify artists and songs of 2019

Spotify, one of the world’s most popular streaming subscription services, has revealed its annual end-of-year “Wrapped” campaign, which showcases the top artists, albums, songs, playlists, and podcasts across the platform’s 248 million listeners in the last year.

One of the artists making headlines is Post Malone, who goes down as the most-streamed artist of the year in several Canadian markets and across the rest of the world.

According to Spotify, the American singer and rapper has more than 6.5 billion streams from fans around the world. His latest album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, goes down as the second-most streamed album globally this year.

Another notable artist, unsurprisingly, is Drake, who goes down as the most-streamed artist of the decade across Canada and globally, with 28 billion streams.
