Sep 27 2016, 12:23 am

Bringing together new media artists from all over the globe, the Sight and Sound Festival has made itself into a Montreal institution over the past nine years.

This year, the festival will be held from September 28th until October 2nd and will focus on one of the most rapidly growing social phenomena, that of the sharing economy, or collaborative consumption.

The 2016 Sight and Sound Festival lineup features musical performances, art installations, workshops, conferences, and interventions.

Artists attending this year’s festival include Harmergeddon, Christine Renaud, Aaron David Ross, Jacqueline Mabey, and many, many more.

The festival will take place at three venues across the city: Eastern Bloc, Temps Libre, and Aux abords du Site Outremont.

Tickets are available for each individual event, or you can purchase a $40 Sight & Sound Pass.

Prepare for some experimental art.
