According to the 2017 Farmers’ Almanac, winter is back.

We can all agree that last winter was an especially mild one. Unfortunately that trend will not be continuing into 2017.

The 2017 Farmers’ Almanac warns of an exceptionally cold, downright frigid winter to come.

They predict that we will see snow as early as mid-November. December and January will be chilly as per usually but it’s next February that the real cold comes when temperatures could reach as low as -40 degrees celsius.

Furthermore, an active storm track will bring above normal precipitation rates to Quebec and the Maritime provinces.

It appears BC is the only province not to be affected by this year’s especially cold winter.

Better get out those Canada Goose jackets!
