While the city remains at a standstill, photographer Théo Cohen has taken to the streets of Old Montreal to show how eerily deserted everything is.

From the Notre-Dame Basilica to Metro Place-d’Armes and Quartier des Spectacles, without Montrealers or tourists, the city looks very bleak.

Cohen tells Daily Hive that the photos were from last Thursday, March 18, and he’s planning another empty Montreal project for this weekend.

Be sure to check out the rest of Cohen’s work on his Instagram page.
