Montreal police and members of the Section des enquêtes criminelles Ouest du SPVM are searching for suspects in a big time heist from this past winter.
According to an SPVM press release, a group of people stole a container on January 20 that were full of 596 bars of silver from a transportation company in Lasalle. The suspects allegedly took possession of the cargo by using “falsified documents.”
The value of the stolen cargo is estimated to be worth more than $10 million.
