Montreal's Old Port skating rink will soon be open for the holiday season

A rink with Old Port as the backdrop – could anything be more magical?

According to the Old Port website, the Natrel Skating Rink will officially be open on December 9, 2017.

Known for its outstanding quality of ice, excellent facilities, and breathtaking views of the city and the Saint Lawrence River, this is the place to go skating in Montreal.


Open from December 9, 2017, until March 11, 2018, you will have three months to take advantage of one of the city’s best winter attractions.

Open from 10 am until 9 pm or 10 pm every day of the week, you’re sure to love whizzing around the rink to everything from rock to classical to jazz music.

Rates are $6.95 for adults, $4.60 for kids and $18 for families.

Skates can be rented for $10 and there are lockers on site to store your valuables.

Whether your family is coming into town for the holidays or you’re planning a romantic date night, this is the place to be.
