Movie theatres are permitted to reopen across Quebec on Friday and two downtown Montreal spots have released which movies are playing on the big screen.
You probably haven’t checked out a movie on the silver screen in over four months but Scotiabank Theatre and the Cineplex Forum will open on Friday with COVID-19 restrictions in place (plus, no popcorn).
“We’re excited to welcome you back to the big screen with procedures to ensure our guests and staff stay safe,” says Cineplex. “Guests aged 10 and over will be required to bring and wear a procedure mask (disposable, often blue) at all times within the theatre. If needed, a mask will be provided.”
While it might be fun to watch a movie in a theatre again, food or beverage consumption will not be permitted at any theatres, in accordance with government regulations.
