Montreal's coolest literary festival is just around the corner

Mar 31 2017, 7:36 pm

Blue Metropolis is one of the city’s best literary festivals. Taking place annually in April, this one-of-a-kind event dates back to 1999.

The festival has activities both in English and French, and features all sorts of events including readings, on-stage interviews, panel discussions, and writing workshops.

This year’s festival will take place between April 24th and April 30th in venues all across the city. Ranging from Bonder’s Book Store in Montreal West, to the Plateau-Mont Royal Library, Montrealers far and wide have the opportunity to experience a variety of literary events in their home borough and beyond.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased online or in person. While some events are free, others do require tickets which typically range between $25 and $60 (the latter of which gets you an all-access pass to Blue Metropolis).

If you’re a bookworm, be sure to check out this cultural and educational Montreal festival come April!
