There are two big concerts around the city today, March 13, as well as some late night partying, butterflies and an always entertaining hobby (for cheap) to keep you busy in Montreal today.

Wednesday comes only once a week, make the most of it.

Weezer & Pixies at Bell Centre

Talk about a 90s collaboration. The American rock band Weezer is joining forces with alternative rock band The Pixies for a wild, nostalgic show at the Bell Centre tonight.

Imagine hearing “Where is my Mind” and “Island in the Sun” at the same concert?

Bowling – Forum Sports Bar

Cozy up inside the Forum and strike some bowling off your list today.

The Forum Sports Bar hosts 16 lanes of 10-pin bowling for $5 a game every Tuesday and Wednesday (tax and shoes included).

Montreal Botanical Garden – Butterflies Go Free

It may not all be butterflies and rainbows in Montreal right now, but(terfly) it will be soon.

The Montreal Botanical Garden’s annual “Butterflies Go Free” has returned for another year.

The 22nd edition of the butterfly festival features “thousands of multicoloured butterflies who will be flitting about in an exceptionally lush natural setting,” as per the Montreal Botanical Garden.

Get a chance to see butterfly’s shimmering colours up close in a humid, tropical oasis, not to mention ample gorgeous photo opportunities.

McKibbin’s Irish Pub Hooley Night

McKibbin’s Irish Pub hosts their “Hooley Night” tonight on their third-floor dance club. Ladies pay $10 at the door, gentlemen pay $25 and then it’s an open bar, all you can drink.

That includes  Moosehead beer, vodka, gin, rum, rye and whiskey as part of the special.

As part of this week St. Patrick’s Day festivities, McKibbin’s is sure to be packed tonight.

Robyn Concert

Robin Miriam Carlsson, known as Robyn, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and record producer. She arrived on the music scene with her 1995 debut album, Robyn Is Here, which produced two Billboard Hot 100 top-10 singles: “Do You Know” and “Show Me Love”.

She’ll be rocking out at the timeless MTELUS tonight.
