After Hours at the McCord

What: After Hours at the McCord will immerse you in the world of pre-pixel photography for one evening! It’s an occasion to celebrate this winter’s new major photography exhibition in MTL: “Notman, A Visionary Photographer.” There will be interactive workshops, live DJs, cocktails, museum tours, and much more.

Park and Finch Pop-Up at William Gray

What: Park and Finch is hosting their very first pop-up shop at the gorgeous living room cocktail bar of Hotel William Gray today. A Simple Space

What: The young Australian troupe Gravity & Other Myths captured the hearts of critics and audiences in Montréal with their non-stop feats of exhilarating acrobatic ability.  The eight acrobats draw spectators in with their technical gifts combined with mad frenzy, and a light-hearted mix of brute strength, boldness and creative prowess. Flung around, piled up, walking upside down, becoming a human skipping rope, or involving their audience, these Australians put on a daring show!

Carnival Sambakana

What: In collaboration with the Sambakana Brazilian Festival, Gusto is hosting a 360 degrees Brazilian experience! Featuring the diversity and richness of the Brazilian dance culture, the night will feature a carnival style samba show by Valérie Chéry, a capoeira show by the Compasso Cordao de Ouro Montreal group, and a samba de gafiera show by Leo Fortes and Robertihna, the Sambakana Festival artists. Get ready to feel Brazilian!

H2O Canada Photography Exhibit

What: Presented by Hera Bell, H2O Canada is a photographic journey of Canada’s water sources in all their forms. Known for her edgy photos, Bell’s exhibit will be featured all month long at the Centaur Theatre. Head on over to this free art installation and marvel at Canada’s natural beauty.
