What: Soubois does it big this year. With not only one, but two parties for Halloween! Their forest promises to be completely transformed, and your preferred Disney characters will be the ones to welcome you. Ciroc Vodka will be the featured alcohol of the soirée, and get ready for more surprises in the evening. Crazy music, people, and vibe… Oh, and not to mention on Friday night, “Mr. Montreal”, Josh Silver, is hosting his Wicked Birthday Séance. This will get crazy.

Attend the Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween Ball

What: Are you a fan of this cult classic? Well whether you are or not, watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Halloween is a must. Lucky for you, Montreal does Rocky Horror justice at the annual Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween Ball. The show takes place at the Imperial Cinema and features a screening of the original movie while a large cast of actors performs live on stage. As per usual, audience participation is actively encouraged. Tickets to this Montreal institution are just $17.95 ($19.95 at the door).

Watch some Halloween theatre

What: The only Haunted Theatrical Experience in the City, Sin: Halloween Haunted House, will guide visitors through a “labyrinth of hellish sins and mortal punishments.” The interactive show will take place at Theatre Sainte Catherine from October 28-30 at 8 pm. Absolutely no one under 18 will be admitted. Prepare to be scared.

Watch a movie at the SPASM Festival

What: The Spasm Festival has dedicated itself to showcasing the most unusual films in cinema. Taking place over Halloween weekend, SPASM will be screening Total Crap 12 on October 27, a preface to their grand night of horror movies on October 28th. On Friday, October 28, SPASM will be taking over Club Soda, playing a slew of the goriest horror movies before screening The Evil Dead in honour of the film’s 35th anniversary. If you’re a film buff looking to get your horror fix this Halloween, you should definitely consider heading to Club Soda for the SPASM Festival.

Spend the evening at the Incognito Masked Ball

What: Taking place in the Dominion Warehouses, the Incognito Masked Ball is one of the most exclusive Halloween parties in the city. All proceeds will go toward the Montreal Children’s Hospital, and the festivities begin at 9 sharp. Prepare for a magical night filled with “mystery, dreams, and roses,” and don’t forget your mask!
