Montreal launches its earliest-ever snow-clearing operation

Yesterday and today’s snowstorm that is expected to dump up to 20 cm of snow around Montreal has resulted in the city’s earliest-ever snow-removal operation.

Montreal executive committee member and Verdun’s Mayor Jean-Francois Parenteau announced the city’s first snow-removal of the season is slated to take place on Wednesday at 7 am.

November 13 would become the city’s earliest snow-clearing operation ever, according to Parenteau.
