Montreal company will deliver Christmas trees right to your door

Buying a Christmas tree is traditionally an appetizer to the holiday season. This year, it might come with a few extra hurdles as people try to avoid big crowds as much as possible.

If that’s the case, Sapin MTL, a Montreal-based company, is offering doorstep deliveries for Christmas trees from now until December 20.

As usual, prices range based on the size of the tree, differing from $65 for small trees, $85 for medium, and $115 for the tall trees. The company also sells tree stands so you can really deck your halls without having to leave your house.

(Don’t forget to tip your tree delivery, ’tis the season.)

According to the Sapin MTL website, buying a real Christmas tree is considerably better for the environment. “Artificial trees have an ecological footprint that is three times larger on the environment than natural trees,” says the website in French. Sapin MTL says artificial trees would have to be used for 20 years for their environmental impact to be the same as a natural one.

If helping the environment and getting it delivered isn’t enough to entice you, check out the company’s short film, “La RĂŠsurrection,” to help convince yourself.

Deliveries are made on weekdays between 1 pm and 8 pm and weekends from 10 am to 6 pm.

Visit the Sapin MTL website for more details and holiday products.
