It’s going to get hot in Montreal because burlesque royalty will be spicing up the city!
The 8th edition of the Montreal Burlesque Festival is packed with a star-studded program, featuring some of the most internationally renowned burlesque stars, swinging music, variety acts, and seductive workshops.
Some of the acts that are worth noting include Burlesque Hall of Fame King Russell Bruner, the all-American, chain-studded Minnie Tonka, New Orleans’ queen of burlesque, the fiery Medianoche, and Montreal’s very own international burlesque star, Scarlett James.
The always entertaining Benjamin Marquis, will MC the festival and have audiences LOL’ing between sets.
On top of the sultry performances, the femme fatale circus performers will dazzle the crowd with their acrobatic stunts.
And if you want to learn the ways of the burlesque, the festival will offer workshops throughout the weekend including Calamity Chang’s classic fan dance class, MisRed’s insightful seminar on the business of burlesque, or Minnie Tonka’s naughty knee-slapping burlesque session.
