As if the Gardens of Light weren’t enough, the Montreal Botanical Garden is hosting another exciting Halloween event.
Known as The Great Pumpkin Ball, the event will last for the entire month of October and is intent on teaching Montrealers everything they need to know about the beloved pumpkin.
The Great Pumpkin Ball features a Squash Kiosk, allowing the public to learn all about squash and how they grow. Next, is the pumpkin decorating competition, in which over 800 prize-winning pumpkins will be on display. The competition includes a pumpkin tour from the esteemed, Esmerelda, the local witch.
As per usual the Botanical Garden’s Halloween mascot, Pepo Citrouille will be in attendance, taking the stage in a special detective show.
Finally, a Little Monsters Courtyard will be set up for all the littles ones looking to work off some energy on the playground.
The Great Pumpkin Ball is for all ages, clearly.
So if you’re in the mood for something different that you can enjoy with literally everyone, head to The Great Pumpkin Ball and get your orange on!
