Montreal to be hammered with up to 25 cm of snow tomorrow

This could be the last major snowfall of the season…

Montreal is currently experiencing one of the mildest winters in recent years. Rather than the usual -20 degree days in January, we’ve been treated to moderate temperatures around (and even above) zero.

Though we couldn’t be more thankful for the warmer temperatures, it appears winter isn’t completely over yet.

According to The Weather Network, Montreal is about to get hammered with anywhere between 15 cm and 25 cm of snow.

Beginning Monday night and continuing throughout the day and night on Tuesday, Montreal could be covered in up to 1 foot of fresh powder come Wednesday morning.

However, The Weather Network warns that due to the warmer temperatures there is likely to be mixed precipitation, meaning a combination of snow and ice pellets, thus lessening its accumulation.

Temperatures this week will hover between 0 and -2 degrees.

Stay safe and enjoy what could possibly be the last snowfall of the season in Montreal!
