Montreal getting giant illuminated art installation honouring Leonard Cohen (VIDEO)

A giant illuminated art installation dedicated to Leonard Cohen will be projected on Silo No. 5 to pay tribute to the legendary artist and commemorate the one-year anniversary of this death.

The installation is part of the MAC exhibit “A Crack in Everything,” which is dedicated to Cohen.

Sentences from poems and songs will light up Silo No.5 from November 7 to 11. The installation was created by Jenny Holzer, an American conceptual artist who has been projecting buildings and landscapes since the 1990s.
