OFFTA returns!
The 2017 edition of OFFTA, Montreal’s very own live art festival, returns May 30 for 10 whole days of contemporary art fun!
OFFTA bases itself on experimentation, meaning Montrealers will be treated to all sorts of new and exciting art forms.
In keeping with the mentality that “unique encounters between artists and audiences cultivate different perspectives,” the co-directors of the festival write, “to all who wish to contribute to this vitality, to those for whom chaos brings forth life and meaning, to those who see beauty in the complex, welcome into the second decade of the OFFTA.”
The 2017 programme includes works by Nicolas Grenier, Simon Renaud, Hannah Sybille Muller, Audrey Villiard, and many more.
In addition, the visual of this edition is Figure Bleue Sur Eclair, a piece of artwork created by artist Elise Provencher.
Tickets range from $12 to $20 during presale, and between $15 and $23 if purchased during the festival. However, there are also several outdoor events that are free to the public.
