
Montreal is starting off the second week of March under a special weather statement.
Environment Canada issued the alert early on Monday morning, calling for “significant freezing precipitation” along the St. Lawrence River throughout the day.

For Montreal, rain is expected to begin near midnight tonight and with temperatures forecasted to hover near the freezing mark, the weather agency says it is “highly likely” that the rain will change to freezing overnight Monday.

- Châteauguay – La Prairie area
- Laval area
- Longueuil – Varennes area
- Montreal Island area
