Environment Canada issues Snowfall Warning for Montreal

As your sore shoulder continues to heal from a weekend’s-worth of shovelling, more snow is headed our way.

Environment Canada has started off Montreal’s work week under a Snowfall Warning, forecasting up to 15 cm of additional snow.

Currently, 30 cm of snow is on the ground as a result of Friday’s storm, and the weather agency predicts 5 cm more throughout the morning, according to the alert, before the possibility of another 10 through Tuesday.

The Snowfall Warning, issued just past 7:30 am on Monday, is in effect for the following areas:

  • Châteauguay – La Prairie area
  • Laval area
  • Longueuil – Varennes area
  • Montréal Island area
