Old Montreal’s Clock Tower Beach is returning!

Do you ever wish that Montreal had an awesome beach on wish to relax and catch some rays? Well, now it does!

Old Montreal’s famous Clock Tower Beach was closed last summer, but it has been confirmed that it will be reopening in summer 2017, giving Montrealers all the benefits of a beach without leaving the city.

Set up at Clock Tower Quay, Clock Tower Beach sits on the banks of the Saint Lawrence and features white sand, blue umbrellas, lounge chairs, and even a resident bar (L’Horloge).

Entrance to the beach is just $2, which is a small price to pay for paradise!

The opening date is currently TBA, however, Tourisme Montreal recently posted a photo of Clock Tower Beach being set up, and it doesn’t look like it will be long before it’s open to the public!

Be sure to check the Old Port of Montreal website for updates.
