Christmas came to town on the tracks this weekend as the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train delivered some holiday cheer to Montreal.
The 20th edition of the Christmas locomotive travels through the US and Canada during the holiday season, stopping in 164 communities while collecting donations to local food banks.
The CP Holiday Train made stops in Kahnawake, St.Constant, Delson, St. Mathieu, Lacolle, Montreal West, and Beaconsfield this weekend and featured festive lights, music from Montreal-native Sam Roberts, and an appearance from the man himself, jolly ol’ Saint Nick.
Here are some pictures and videos of people trainspotting the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train’s stops in Montreal.
You can’t spell “choo choo” without ” ho ho ho” — extra “ho” added for emphasis.
