A new Italian eatery is opening up on Bishop in Montreal

When one thinks of real, authentic Italian Food, in Italy or abroad, the town of Parma will forever come to mind.

And now we can experience the flavor and vibe of Parma here in Montreal.

Opening its doors next Monday at 1202 Bishop, Parma Cafe is a new Italian snack bar, Italian Casse-Croute, Pret-A-Manger lunch café, and take out spot.

So how did the idea behind Parma spring up?

While reminiscing on famous family recipes and dreaming about authentic espressos, stepbrothers, David Castro and Eric Petraglia decided to open up an Italian deli to pay homage to their humble beginnings and bring an authentic side of Italy to Montreal alongside partners Angelo Cappucilli (Macaroni Bar/Somwhr) and Marco Romanelli (Vinotor Wines).

Serving classic Italian dishes, like oven baked pizza, chicken cutlet sandwiches, sausage paninis, meatballs, and daily soups and salad trios, each recipe stems from a famous Italian meal, with it’s own Montreal twist. The cafe will also offer a real Italian coffee bar and Italian desserts, alongside a take out grocery store market, specializing in imported olive and truffle oils, balsamic vinegars, and homemade pasta and sauces.

Parma Café will officially open its doors to the public on November 7th and will be open

From 7 am until 10 pm during the week and 9 am until 10P pm on weekends.

Buon Appetito!
