707 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Quebec, 34 additional deaths

The Province of Quebec announced 707 new cases of coronavirus Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 43,627.

Premier François Legault made the announcement in a press conference, adding that there has been 34 additional deaths in the province.

3,596 people have died because of the coronavirus in Quebec, and over 12,000 people have recovered.

According to Legault, the province has also doubled the number of tests conducted, and Monday’s increase is the lowest number of deaths since April 12.

1,771 people are hospitalized due to the coronavirus, and 179 are in intensive care.
