The 17th annual list of Canada’s Top 100 Employers was announced on November 7th, and includes employers that lead the nation in attracting and retaining employees.
Canadian employers were evaluated in eight categories and then compared to similar organizations in their fields to figure out which companies are the best. The eight categories include:

- Work Atmosphere & Social
- Health, Financial & Family Benefits
- Vacation & Time Off
- Employee Communications
- Performance Management
- Training & Skills Development
- Community Involvement
11 Quebec based companies, 7 of which hail from Montreal, made the list, including Air Canada, Bell Canada, and L’Oreal Canada.
