11 Montreal concerts to check out this August

Don’t listen to the “back to school” ads on the radio – we still have the whole month of August ahead of us before the first Tuesday after Labour Day hits like a slap in the face.

And lucky for us, the rest of the summer is packed with a pretty solid concert lineup that you’ll want to drop those precious dollars on.

These are the best concerts to hit Montreal in August.

Mura Masa 

 

Just weeks after releasing his self-titled album, Guernsey. U.K.-born DJ, electronic music producer and songwriter Mura Masa brings his dance-worthy beats to Montreal.

Osheaga

 

With no shortage of both wardrobe and photo ops, in addition to a lineup that includes acts like The Arkells, The Weeknd, Broken Social Scene, Lorde, Foster the People and Liam Gallagher, you’ll find the city’s cool kids at Osheaga.

Coldplay

 

Seven-time Grammy Award winning British rock band Coldplay will hit Montreal for their A Head Full of Dreams Tour, which sees the beloved group stop in Canada for the time in five years.

Ilsoniq Festival

 

If you have a thing for beats and high-energy partygoers, you’ll find them at Ilesoniq Festival, a massive three-day festival of all things EDM.

One Republic

Guns N’ Roses
