Here's how to live your best Vegas life right here in Vancouver (CONTEST)

Because we all know that what happens in Vegas does not stay there, we are grateful to have an alternative option for Vegas-level entertainment right here in our own city.

Shout out to Parq Vancouver for allowing me to feed my (completely healthy) gambling obsession without necessarily having to regret all my Insta Stories the next morning.

In celebration of Parq’s one-year anniversary, they are offering a variety of discounts and promotions with their Passport to Play, available at the Players Club on level two. If you use five of the 11 discounts available before October 31st, you will be eligible to win the ultimate staycation package. The discounts each represent one of Parq Vancouver’s pillars of entertainment: Eat, Play, Stay, Experience, and Relax.

After securing a stamp on the “Eat” category of my Passport to Play with a delish lunch at Honey Salt, I was ready to move onto the next pillar of entertainment at Parq: Play.

I opted for the casino (for reasons I have already expressed), but you can also stop by the Lotus Lounge or the Center Bar to get yourself a “Play” stamp.

Fun fact: The Lotus Lounge is home to a collection of brandy bottles that are exclusive to that bar. It also gets bumpin’ on a Friday and Saturday night, and they often have live entertainment!

Parq Vancouver has something for every type of gambling lover. The second floor is home to machines, lower limit tables, and a lively atmosphere. The third floor is where you can find higher limit tables and VIP amenities for the more serious gamblers.

Once you receive your Passport stamp from the Players Club, you will receive a $10 free play for new and existing Encore members (it takes two minutes to sign up).

Not to brag but I turned my $10 free play into $25 profit and now my biggest challenge is trying not to spend it all in one place. #BlackjackBoss

Once you’ve worked up an appetite at the tables or slot machines, head over to MRKT EAST to dig into some classic Asian eats with a modern twist. And while you’re at it, you can get another “Eat” stamp on your passport!
