With its laid back lifestyle and natural aesthetic, Pai in Northern Thailand may not seem like a destination for spring break adventure. Still, the area is home to an abundance of activities that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Explore the stunning Pai Canyon and admire the magnificent views on one of the various hiking routes. Since it can get quite hot depending on the time of year, visit one of the many waterfalls for the perfect place to cool off. Pambok Waterfall, located a short scooter ride outside Pai, is a hidden gem and alternative to the famous Mo Paeng Falls. Visitors to Pai should also try the blissful hot springs, tubing down the Pai River, and visiting the iconic Pai Circus School.

An autonomous archipelago of Portugal, the Azores islands are home to beautiful scenery, idyllic fishing villages, and expansive green areas. The archipelago is comprised of nine islands divided into three groups, eastern (Sao Miguel and Santa Maria), central (Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial islands) and western (Flores and Corvo islands). Sao Miguel is particularly ideal for spring break adventure as visitors of all skill levels can find an activity for them, from rappeling down waterfalls, canyoning, biking along volcanic grounds, or canoeing in a crater lake. Whatever you choose to one or all of these things, a visit to the Azores is one for the memory book.
