Spice Up Your Life: Book the original Spice Girls Bus on Airbnb

STOP RIGHT NOW — the original Spice Girls double-decker bus has just been listed on Airbnb.

For the first time in history, Spice Girls fans will now have the chance to throw a slumber party in the Spice Bus from the 1997 hit movie Spice World.

The Union-Jack-painted bus has been successfully converted into a sleek, modern accommodation and listed on Airbnb. It was renovated under the guidance of Spice Girls superfan Suzanne Goley.

“My greatest love is the Spice Girls (after my children and partner of course),” Goley says. “I adored their music growing up and used to choreograph routines to all my favourite songs!

“I watched Spice World on repeat and never thought I’d get the chance to go inside the actual Spice Bus – so to get this opportunity and now be able to share with other fans is just a dream come true.”

“This is the original Spice Bus that fans will know and love from the movie Spice World but with an interior makeover,” the Airbnb listing promises.

While the exterior remains identical to how it looked in the film, the Spice Bus interior has been given a modern touch. The bus now features a walk-in wardrobe with dressing table, widescreen TV, Scary Spice-inspired animal print carpet, and “Girl Power” neon light installation.

The double-decker arrangement also sleeps three guests comfortably upstairs.

“I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing designers on converting the bus into accommodation with the support of Airbnb, and I can’t wait to share it with my fellow fans,” Goley adds.

If the ultimate throwback experience what you really really want, fear not. The makeover includes animal print carpet, a basket of scrunchies, ‘90s magazines, and classic CDs from the decade.

Though these thoughtful touches give guests everything, all that joy can bring, amenities are limited. Guests will have access to a temporary bathroom with a toilet, shower, sink, and premium toiletries, but the accommodation lacks a kitchen, running water, and WiFi. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby.

Guests will find the bus parked in the heart of London‘s Wembley Park, ahead of the Spice Girls concert at Wembley Stadium this summer. Prices and available dates are not currently listed.

We must warn that despite his movie cameo, Meatloaf will not be driving the bus this time.

It’s also worth mentioning that those who really wanna zig-a-zig-ah must comply with a ‘strict’ set of bus rules. The policy includes a ‘90s dress code, driver seat selfies, and a rendition of “Goodbye” upon checkout.

Finally, Girl Power is an “essential” for those wishing to spend a night.
