Is there anything John Stamos can’t do?

He made us swoon as the loveable rocker, Uncle Jesse, in Full House; made us laugh with his rendition of Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid Live!; and captivated us with his portrayal of Dr. Nicky in the hit Netflix series You.

Now, John Stamos is reading Disney bedtime stories.

A self-professed lover of Disney, the actor is reading from A Kiss Goodnight — a book written by Disney animator Floyd Norman and songwriter Richard Sherman — which Stamos describes as “one of [his] favourite books.”

In a tweet shared by Disney, Stamos can be seen sitting in his very own Dumbo replica from the comfort of his home, where he is self-isolating.

He begins by reading an excerpt from Sherman, describing a personal encounter that he and his wife had with Walt Disney at Disneyland after taking in the fireworks display and music.

They were particularly moved by the magical moment where Tinkerbell flies across the sky, a sight they claim brought them to tears.

Stamos continues to say, when Disney and his Imagineers were creating the park, they wanted to thank guests for coming in a creative and enchanting way.

They brought this appreciation to life by offering a free fireworks show complete with music and a flying Tinkerbell, which Disney called “A Kiss Goodnight.”

The video also features animations that transport the viewer into the story while the book’s soundtrack plays in the background.

If you’re looking for a way to bring some joy to your quarantine, or a creative way to entertain your children before they drift off to sleep, we highly recommend indulging in two things you enjoy, Disney and John Stamos.
