From cherry blossoms to tulip festivals, flower lovers Instagrammers from across the globe are brightening up their feeds with beautiful springtime blooms.

Destinations like Tokyo and Osaka in Japan are drawing travellers at this time of year specifically for hanami (flower viewing season), but cherry blossoms aren’t the only flowers that are gracing Instagram feeds this spring.

Wisteria, orΒ fuji in Japanese, are considered the country’s second most famous flowers and reach full bloom between early and mid May.

What sets wisteria apart from cherry blossoms is their ability to bend and be shaped into large, multi-coloured tunnels. It’s a great look for your ‘gram.
