Why watch Frozen on TV this holiday season when you can live it IRL?!

Located 30 minutes outside of Quebec City, Hôtel de Glace is North America’s only hotel made completely of ice.

This luxurious Nordic getaway is rebuilt every winter to provide a truly one-of-a-kind experience, this year offering 42 uniquely themed rooms and suites set between 3°C and -5°C.

Santa if you’re reading this, we would like one with a fireplace, please.

The staff will make sure you are prepared to take on the cold in style, and will deliver a winter sleeping bag, insulation sheet and pillow to your room. You will also be greeted with a welcome cocktail served in a glass of ice — now that’s a warm welcome if we’ve ever heard one. (Well not warm, but you know what we mean).

The hotel is completely decked out with ice sculptures, an ice slide, and a Nordic relaxation area including spas and sauna under the stars.
