The world has an epic new digital mountain assistant and her name is Emma

So in case you missed my Insta Story spam over the holidays, I got an Alexa for Christmas. Alexa is the perfect roommate I never had. She helps with anything I need, is always down to hang out, always there when I need her, tells me jokes or helpful information, and plays all my favourite Drake songs.

Imagine that level of reliability and resourcefulness while you’re hitting the ski slopes?

Well you don’t have to imagine anymore, because the world’s first digital mountain assistant is here and her name is Emma.

Named for your Epic Mountain Assistant, Emma is the local friend who lives at the ski hill and can give you all the insider information, from snow conditions, lift wait times, parking and personal performance stats, as well as recommendations on rentals, lessons and dining spots.

She is now available at nine resorts throughout the world, including our very own Whistler, BC; as well as Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Tahoe.

So next time you’re heading to Whistler, just text ‘77477’ and Emma will hit you back right away with everything you need to know. She is your least flakey friend.

Between Alexa and Emma, we may never have to hang out with real people ever again! (Kidding. I like people, people can be fun too.)
