This season, Club Wyndham knows that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. However, instead of singing, per se, they are providing guests with the ultimate suite experience unlike anything they have ever had before.
Inspired by the classic New Line Cinema holiday movie Elf, guests of all ages will be transcended into Buddy the Elf’s wonderful, whimsical, wintery Christmas world.
According to the press release, “The vacation club suite features everything you need to have the perfect holiday experience, complete with hundreds of paper snowflakes, Buddy’s favorite toys, plenty of sugary treats, and more.”
The Elf-themed suite will be available for reservations from December 2 to December 26.
Club Wyndham is an advocate for encouraging families to live out their travel bucket lists through its assortment of over 100 resorts around the world.
This experiential suite experience at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 was created in association with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and will allow guests to live like Buddy while experiencing the real-life magic of New York City.
Immediately upon arrival, guests will be faced with a door dressed in an elf jacket. They will then enter the living and dining area, complete with all of Buddy’s favorite holiday décor.
According to the press release, “Hundreds of paper snowflakes, popcorn and paper garlands adorn the ceiling, while a towering Christmas tree beautifully decorated with golden ornaments centers the space. Guests will marvel at a Lite Brite welcome message, jack-in-the-box toys under the tree, a colorful gift wrap mural wall complete with six-inch ribbon curls and more. In the kitchen, ribbons cover the cabinets and a full-size fridge is stocked with elves’ four essential food groups – candy, candy canes, candy corn and maple syrup.”
Families will have all they need to conjure up a Buddy the Elf-inspired feast in the suite’s fully equipped kitchen, complete with an assortment of treats, including spaghetti, chocolate sauce, marshmallows, rolls of cookie dough, Pop-Tarts, M&Ms and, finally, litres of soda.
The Christmas cheer doesn’t stop there, not even close!
The suite’s bedroom and bathroom have even more paper snowflakes, garlands, and festive decorations as well as “bath ‘snowballs’ to complete an elf-approved vacation.”
Regardless of age, guests can all enjoy Buddy’s favorite toys, such as a Lego replica of the Empire State building, toy trains, and Etch-A-Sketches.
“Every detail of this Elf-inspired suite was designed to put families in awe from the moment they walk in,” said Noah Brodsky, the chief brand officer for Wyndham Destinations.
“Visiting New York City during the holidays is at the top of many travelers’ bucket list, and Club Wyndham wants to help our owners check that list off in a spectacular way. We think there’s no better way to do it than to get families immersed into Buddy the Elf’s whimsical Christmas world.”
The holiday suite sleeps up to four guests, and reservations will be available to book starting November 25, for stays beginning December 2.
Rates start at $399 ($530.75 CDN) per night, and the suite will be available exclusively for Club Wyndham vacation club members from December 21 to December 26.
Families that reserve the suite can walk in Buddy’s footsteps throughout the city with complimentary admission for up to four people to the Empire State Building and tickets to the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink.
