The train company is putting on a Valentine’s buy-one-get-one-free sale to show their customers some love.

According to the official press release, “Thursday, February 13, through Monday, February 17, customers can buy one coach ticket and get the second free for nationwide travel between March 9 and August 30, 2020, with no blackout dates.”
To receive the discounted tickets, simply type the code V214 at checkout or at amtrak.com/valentines-day-sale.

“Take a quick trip to the mountains or enjoy a long weekend at a cozy bed and breakfast. Share the beautiful view through our windows on your way there. So think bigger than red roses and chocolate for your Valentine and plan your next getaway together,” Amtrak’s website explains.
The passenger paying full price and their free companion must travel together on the same itinerary and have their tickets jointly issued.

The offer is valid for coach seats only with no upgrades allowed. It is usable for travel on all reserved services except the Auto Train.
