A look inside Montreal's newest SQDC dispensary (PHOTOS)

The Greater Montreal area just got its fifth Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) shop and it may have just formed a pretty spectacular dynamic duo on Queen Mary.

Located at 5240 Queen Mary, Montreal’s newest cannabis shop is the first to be opened in the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce area of the island and it could help alleviate the lineups at the ever-busy downtown location.

“Nobody knows that we are open yet,” an SQDC Queen Mary employee told Daily Hive. “People will eventually find out about us and they’ll be happy. This is the nicest one in Montreal, we have TV menus, easily accessible information, no lineups, and full stock.”

We look a look at the new government-run cannabis shop and shared some pictures below of what the inside of the new store, which opened on September 3, looks like.

In May, the SQDC announced that this coming fall, three new shops will open off-island in Chicoutimi, Sherbrooke, and Châteauguay with plans to open 43 total shops across the province by March 2020.

The Métro Snowdon SQDC, as it’s refeer referred to on the government-run website, is open weekdays from 10 am to 9 pm and until 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
