Legalization is finally (almost) here.

On Wednesday, October 17, the recreational use of cannabis will become legal across the country, and no place in Calgary will be more evidence of that cultural shift than at the soon-to-open NOVA Cannabis at Willow Park.

One of only two cannabis shops opening up on Wednesday, Nova Cannabis will join 420 Premium Market and the Government of Alberta’s designated website as being one of the only places to legally purchase weed in YYC.

Doors are expected to open at 10 am sharp, and the store will be operational from 10 am to 10 pm seven days a week.

More than 70 different cannabis products will be available as of October 17, including pre-rolled joints, capsules, oils, and flowers for potential customers to browse and purchase — no medicinal marijuana card required.
