All the (legal) pot delivery services available in Toronto right now

All of us Most of us are taking physical distancing pretty seriously, which can be a pain if you live in any of the many cannabis deserts in Toronto. While brick-and-mortar storefronts of pot purveyors have been taken off the list of essential businesses, the province made provisions allowing for them to make deliveries.

Check out the select few services that will deliver your choice of fresh nugs with little more than an online order and a physically distanced ID check.

Tokyo Smoke has added itself to the list of places offering delivery in Ontario. All orders will be delivered same-day, provided customers order before the store’s specified cut-off time and includes all product formats available in-store including dried flower, edibles, and beverages.

The city’s first licensed cannabis dispensary also staked a claim as the city’s first licensed cannabis delivery earlier in the month. Currently, the establishment is offering same-day delivery on orders placed online before 5 pm.

According to the business, the purchaser will receive a text once the driver is en route and they can track the driver. Delivery fees are based on the area of delivery, and the service area includes Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, all of Toronto (e.g., Etobicoke, Downtown, Scarborough), Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Markham.

Fire & Flower is now offering next-day delivery on its cannabis products within areas of the GTA. Orders over $50 include free delivery.

A trip to the company’s online marketplace, at time of writing, will contain a banner offering same day delivery. Currently, this is only for Fire & Flower locations in Ottawa and Kitchener.

Friendly Stranger is offering delivery from various locations to customers in the GTA. Check the company’s website for details to make sure they’ll come to your area, and it’s as simple as placing an order online. They are also currently offering free delivery on orders over $50.

The Donnelly Group’s Hobo cannabis chains are offering delivery next day delivery on orders placed at its two Toronto locations.  Cannabis consumers are able to make orders through Hobo’s website for free drop off.

Ontario Cannabis Store

The Ontario Cannabis Store has been both distributor and online source for cannabis in the province since legalization day in 2018. The company was previously offering same-day delivery but now — due to demand — can have it on your doorstep within one to three business days.

The service is currently being offered free of charge.
