Circle: The Travelling Food, Beer and Music Carnival is on its way back to Calgary for a celebration of excitement, enjoyment, and entertainment this September, now for two days.

September 13 is Adult Night from 4 to 10 pm, where you must be 18+ to attend, while September 14 is all ages from 11 am to 10 pm.

Taking place at Shaw Millennium Park, the 2019 event is sure to dazzle attendees with all the BassBus tunes, YYCFoodTrucks grub, and Village Brewery beverages.

In past years the carnival has hosted multiple local and international musical performances and featured a bingo dome, over 14 food trucks, live circus performances, a 30,000 ball ball-pit (yes, adults were allowed in), and a site-wide liquor license.

This year, the carnival will also feature the event’s first-ever ‘Cannabis Garden,’ a legal cannabis consumption area on site.

The FOUR20 cannabis consumption site will be open on Friday, September 13 from 4 to 10 pm, and Saturday, September 14 from 11 am to 10 pm.

This area is a safe space for cannabis consumption and free education for safe use for those 18 years or older. It will feature tables, chairs, and hammocks.

The federal Cannabis Act states that adults can possess up to 30 grams of cannabis in a public place. Attendees are asked to follow all municipal, provincial and federal laws surrounding legalized cannabis.
