A dazzling holiday event in Old Strathcona will light up Whyte Ave later this month, and you can treat yourself to tons of Christmas lights and displays.

The Winter Whyte Light Up at Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park on November 30 will bring some holiday magic with it in the form of light displays, including the gazebo and trees. New to this year’s event, it will showcase light installations by local artists.

This year will feature its first-ever Winter Whyte Variety Show, artist-created light installations, rides on the Edmonton Streetcar’s Christmas Car, story time at the Edmonton Public Library, live ice carving at the farmers’ market, and more.

You can also spin the wheel to win exclusive Old Strathcona merchandise or visit one of its partner tents to see what they have to offer– and make sure to swing by the maple taffy station at the Flying Canoe Volant tent.

More details on the event can be found here.
