
If you’re on the hunt for a new job, Time magazine has named seven Edmonton companies among Canada’s best businesses.
For the second year, Time partnered with Statista to rank Canada’s best companies based on employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency. The ranking looked at data from thousands of employees, financial performance, and corporate sustainability practices to determine the top 125 companies in the country.
Stantec was the highest-ranking Edmonton company on the list. The engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting firm came in seventh overall with a score of 92.36. It ranked 21st in employee satisfaction, fourth in sustainability transparency, and earned a “very high” revenue growth ranking.
Time also named Stantec Canada’s most sustainable company in June 2025. The company has also regularly appeared on top employer lists, including Forbes.

PCL Construction ranked 62nd with a score of 83. It placed 24th in employee satisfaction, 107th in sustainability transparency, and earned an “outstanding” revenue growth ranking.

Utility company Epcor came in 64th with an overall score of 82.9. It ranked 44th in employee satisfaction, 75th in sustainability transparency, and had a “moderate” revenue growth ranking.
Canadian Western Bank placed 83rd with a score of 81.02, ranking 70th in employee satisfaction, 54th in sustainability transparency, and earning a “moderate” revenue growth ranking.
Aurora Cannabis ranked 95th with an overall score of 79.14. It placed 118th in employee satisfaction, 73rd in sustainability transparency, and had a “high” revenue growth ranking.
Servus Credit Union came in 98th with a score of 78.64. It ranked 75th in employee satisfaction, 108th in sustainability transparency, and earned a “high” revenue growth ranking.
Rounding out the list, ATB Financial placed 102nd with an overall score of 77.54. It ranked 32nd in employee satisfaction, 70th in sustainability transparency, and had a “moderate” revenue growth ranking.
