Tim Hortons expanding ways Canadians can earn rewards points
Tim Hortons is teaming up with another iconic Canadian brand to help customers unlock new benefits in its rewards program.
On Monday, Canadian Tire and the coffee chain announced their “strategic loyalty partnership” that will allow members to link their Triangle Rewards and Tims Rewards accounts. This is set to launch later in 2026.
Customers with linked rewards accounts will earn Canadian Tire Money (CTM) on eligible Tim Hortons purchases. Members will also enjoy exclusive offers through both rewards programs.

Triangle Mastercard holders who link accounts will get even more opportunities to earn CTM when dining at Tim Hortons.
“Our strategic partnerships are all about building our Triangle ecosystem to reward Canadians for their everyday activities – from shopping for essentials to now picking up their morning coffee,” stated Canadian Tire’s executive vice president and chief development officer, Darryl Jenkins.
The restaurant chain is the fourth Canadian brand to join the Triangle Rewards ecosystem, following Petro-Canada, RBC, and WestJet.
According to Canadian Tire, nearly 12 million Triangle Rewards members and millions of Canadians visit Tim Hortons each day.

“This partnership between our two iconic brands gives Canadians the ability to earn Canadian Tire Money on their order, alongside Tims Rewards points, and allows us to provide even more amazing everyday value,” said Tim Hortons’ chief marketing officer, Hope Bagozzi.
Millions of Canadians use Tims Rewards every week to earn points on their purchases at the restaurant. Members can still redeem their points for their favourite drinks, baked goods, breakfasts, lunches or dinners at Tim Hortons.
The loyalty program also gives members access to contests and games, including Roll Up to Win and the Tim’s NHL Hockey Challenge.
As a Tims Rewards member, you’ll still be able to skip the line when ordering ahead on the app and use the Scan and Pay feature to earn points, redeem rewards and pay for your order faster.
