There’s an extra buzz in the building at the Stanley Cup Final, because Taylor Swift has made a surprise appearance.

Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, are attending Thursday night’s Stanley Cup Final game between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers.

The couple landed by helicopter near Amerant Arena in Sunrise, Florida, according to ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski.

“The VIP entrance has been closed to the public, as are the elevators to the press box,” Wyshynski added, prior to the start of Game 4.

Cameras spotted Swift and Kelce watching the game from a private box.

Swift’s timing is impeccable, as Jeff Skinner re-enters the lineup for the Oilers. Skinner famously posed for an awkward photo with her in 2013.

 

It goes without saying that this game is massively important, as the Panthers lead the series 2-1. A win by the Oilers would even the series going back to Edmonton for Game 5 on Saturday.

Conversely, a Florida win would put Edmonton on the brink of elimination.
