Western Canada’s largest food festival returns to Edmonton next week

Summer has arrived, and that means it’s prime eating season as far as we’re concerned. So it’s great to know that Taste of Edmonton, Western Canada’s largest food festival, is right around the corner. The highly anticipated event returns from July 17 to 27 this year.
Since 1984, Edmonton has been home to one of the largest food celebrations in the region, continuing each year to highlight a diverse and delicious array of foods from local restaurants and food trucks. This community-driven festival quickly became one of Edmonton’s summer highlights and continues to shed light on all the different cultural foods within the Edmonton area.
Running from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Sunday to Thursday) and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Friday and Saturday), the festival offers free admission to a wide variety of food options from different cultures and vendors, as well as talented performers and local artisans.
The 2025 menu features some Taste of Edmonton classic favourites, such as Blowers and Graton’s Mini Lobster Roll, Lingnan’s Dry Spicy Chicken, and Paraiso Tropical’s pork and cheese Pupusas. Other returning favourites include Choco n’ Dip, the Canadian Brewhouse, and the classic lemonade with Lemon Haven.

Gangnam Street Food, Satay Madura, and El Afrik Lounge, to name a few, are some of the vendors with a full menu of new dishes at Taste of Edmonton.
