This Taiwanese tea cafe is coming to West Edmonton Mall
This delicious Taiwanese tea cafe is opening up a location in Edmonton, and it’s time to get excited.
Gong Cha is one of hottest Taiwan tea cafes, with premium tea leaves, fresh ingredients, and delicious taste.
Since its founding in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 2006, the chain has established itself as king when it comes to tea shops. Gong Cha has opened over 1,000 locations in 10 countries and has shops in Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg, to name a few.
Gong Cha Bubble Tea
Gong Cha is a combination of characters in Taiwanese: âgongâ meaning reward/contribution, and âchaâ meaning tea plant. In ancient China, this phrase referred to the best tea offered to the Emperor, and now these royal flavours will be popping up in a mall near you.
Gong Cha announced via their Instagram page that a new location is in the works and will soon be open in West Edmonton Mall.
The cafe has many categories of hand-brewed drinks, including milk foam teas, milk teas, ice smoothies, creative mixes, brewed teas, iced coffees, and healthy and fresh teas.

If the drinks are brewed and not sold within a four-hour timeframe, they are disposed of in order to ensure freshness always comes first.
The soft opening date will be announced soon, so keep an eye out and get ready to enjoy the dynamic flavours and bold tastes.
