Suspects facing 68 drug and weapon charges after traffic stop by gang task-force

Several individuals in Edmonton are facing a number of drug and weapon charges after a reported traffic stop by Edmonton Police Service.

According to EPS, four individuals are facing 68 weapon-related charges, following a traffic stop by the EPS Gang Suppression Team (GST) in southwest Edmonton.

“On Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at approximately 8:45 pm, GST members conducted a traffic stop involving a 2016 Dodge Caravan in the Callingwood area,” EPS said in a release.

Police discovered three loaded firearms in the vehicle and 10.1 grams of cocaine

Individuals facing charges include 35-year-old Krystal Mildred L’Hirondelle, 30-year-old Terris Gordon Cardinal, 30-year-old Clifford Johnathan Gladue, and 21-year-old Joshua Russell Gauthier.

They are each facing up to six charges or more.
