Popular premium tequila-based cocktails finally arrive in Alberta to send off the summer

Just a year after its initial launch, a new tequila-based drink is breaking into the Alberta market — and it’s just in time for late summer sippin’. 

Get excited, Edmonton; the wait is over! Suntail Drink Co. has officially landed.

Born in Vancouver and known for its quality ingredients, Suntail comes in three cocktail flavours, Citrón, a lemon-lime margarita, Sandia, a watermelon spritz, and Soleada, a tropical mango margarita.

Nobody wants their margarita tasting like straight-up syrup, right? Each Suntail flavour is crafted to not be overly sweet, contains 120 calories and four grams of sugar, and uses premium blue-agave tequila and micro-carbonation.

They’re vegan, gluten-free, free of artificial flavours, and contain five per cent alcohol by volume.

Suntail may be new to us, but it’s already made quite the splash back in B.C.

The Vancouver-born brand launched just a year ago, and quickly made a name for itself. Just last February, its Sandia and Citrón flavours secured the No. 1 and No. 2 top-selling positions at Legacy Liquor Store.

It’s also now carried at several bars and restaurants in B.C. (and hopefully soon Alberta!) and recently participated in big local events like Country Club and Harvest Haus. Plus, it’s the official tequila RTD for the Langley Events Centre.
