This city just north of Edmonton is getting a whole bunch of new restaurants
There’s a whole bunch of new restaurants coming to St. Albert this year.
Just north of Edmonton is the City of St. Albert, an exciting hub and botanical city known for its vibrant nature and great vibes. For those who are just outside of Edmonton, you won’t have to complain about driving half an hour for your favourite fast-food place any longer — it’s finally time to get this food scene buzzing.

Coming to St. Albert’s East Village is Jersey Mikes, Five Guys, Waves Coffee House, BarNaan, OEB Breakfast Co., and the ever-so popular Chick-Fil-A.
BarNaan is an Indian restaurant that comes all the way from Ontario, and this will be its first Alberta location ever. It’s super exciting for St. Albert to get the first dive into their delicious menu.
As for opening dates for these restaurants, stay tuned for more information. We’re expecting to see them open this year, with the construction looking close to finished on most of these projects.

As for the Jensen Lakes neighbourhood in the city, you’re in for a treat!
Not only will St. Albert be getting its own Denny’s soon, but a new Sip Soda Co. shop will also be opening close by. Now, if you want to get breakfast and finish off with a sweet beverage for dessert, it’s all going to be in the same plaza.
Sip Soda Co. said on its Instagram that we can expect the opening of its St. Albert location in one to two weeks. As for Denny’s, we are unsure of the opening date, so stay tuned for updates.
There’s going to be no need for driving down to Edmonton for lunch anymore with all these new restaurants in St. Albert. The city is growing, and it’s got you covered. Get ready for a new culinary experience in the city, folks.
