SHEIN’s Box Santa Tour is coming to Edmonton and giving away thousands of free gifts
Christmas is coming early this year! SHEIN’s Box Santa Tour is hitting up three major Canadian cities this season, and Edmonton is officially on the map.
After drawing massive crowds in Calgary last year, the global fashion and lifestyle retailer is now bringing its holiday magic to Edmonton for the first time, taking over the West Edmonton Mall from Nov. 21 to Nov. 23.
So, what’s it all about? Picture a 12-foot-tall Santa made entirely out of SHEIN boxes, towering in the mall and ready to spread festive cheer.

Throughout the weekend, SHEIN will be giving away more than 10,000 free surprise gifts, from accessories and beauty must-haves to festive and activewear favourites.
To redeem one, all you need to do is take a photo with Box Santa, post it on Instagram or TikTok using #SHEINboxsanta, and show the post to Santa’s helpers on-site. Gifts are first-come, first-served, and while supplies last — so consider this your warning to get there early.
More than just gifts
The holiday spirit doesn’t stop with the freebies. This year, SHEIN is turning every moment of fun into meaningful impact through its partnership with Soles4Souls Canada — an organization that provides clothing and footwear to people in need both here in Canada and around the world.
For every gift given out during the tour, SHEIN will donate $1 to support their mission, meaning that your festive photo also helps spread some joy far beyond the mall.
Box Santa will be open during regular mall hours: Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
