West Edmonton Mall offering physically distanced photos with Santa
The West Edmonton Mall is still offering photos with Santa this year, but they’ve changed the set up to be pandemic-friendly.
Guests who purchase a Santa photo experience won’t get to sit on his knee this year, but they can enter his chalet and cozy up in his sleigh while posing for a photo with Santa smiling from a safe distance behind them.

Guests should reserve a time to meet Santa (from a distance) online.
Masks are mandatory inside the mall and while lining to enter the chalet. Once inside, guests are allowed to temporarily remove their masks for the photo.
Each party’s visit with Santa is six minutes long, and the mall will email digital copies of the photos to customers. Prints can also be purchased for an additional charge.
